Holiday Cards
Holiday Cards
Just arrived — Holiday 2026. The annual card, single panel: one 5x7 card on 18pt Ultra Premium Pearl shimmer, printed front and back. Six designs, drawn for this year only. Now taking orders — order by 10 November and your cards arrive around the 26th, leaving you a clear week to address, stuff and stamp them so they land in the first week of December.
Envelopes are yours to choose. Add A-7 envelopes printed with your return address, or take the cards on their own if you already have envelopes you like — cards only is the cheaper option and it is a real choice, not a downgrade. Three ways to take your envelopes. Cards only if you already have envelopes you like — that is the cheapest option. Plain envelopes if you are having them hand-addressed or lettered. Printed return address if you would rather we set yours. Plain and printed are the same price: plain stock actually costs us slightly more, and we would rather not charge you extra for the simpler thing.
Want two different cards? Holiday Cards — Two Designs puts any two of the six in one order — one for family, another for work.
Designs, photos, and when it arrives
Choose from Headline Cheer, Portrait Ledger, Snapshot Grid, Pine Margin, Postcard Noel and Midnight Snow. Three of them hold your photos (Portrait Ledger, Snapshot Grid, Postcard Noel); the other three are typographic and need no photo at all.
Sending us your photos. Upload them right here — pick a photo design above and the upload boxes appear, one per photo that design uses. JPEG, PNG, HEIC or TIFF, up to 20 MB each; send the largest version you have. If a file is bigger than that, order anyway and reply to your confirmation email with it. Either way a person places your photo by hand, which is why it looks set rather than dropped in, and you’ll see it on the proof before anything prints.
Designs shown with sample personalization (“The Hendersons, 2026”) — yours are set by hand.
Quantities. 100, 250, 500 and 1,000. The per-piece price drops at every tier — the ladder above shows exactly where. 1,000 is cards-only for now; we’re still pricing envelopes at that volume.
Add a New Year card and beat the deadline. Tick New Year postcards and the same quantity of 4x6 cards rides along in the same parcel, carrying your family name and a New Year line. Two reasons people take it: a New Year card still lands on time when a Christmas card no longer can, and it is the cheapest thing you will ever mail — 65¢ postcard postage against 82¢ for a card in an envelope.
When to order — it is post you have to send, not a gift under a tree. A holiday card should turn up in the first half of December, and you still have to address, stuff, stamp and mail it. Counting backwards:
- Order by 10 November — in hand around the 26th, posted by 1 December, landing in the first week.
- Order by 17 November — in hand about 3 December, posted by the 8th, landing in the second week.
- 1 December is last call — in hand around the 17th, and only if you post them the day they arrive.
When it arrives: a proof in about a business day, printed in four to six, then two to seven in transit. Nothing prints until you approve the proof.
Gallery note: Sample family photography is digitally generated for presentation and is replaced by the photos you upload. Card typography and layouts shown are the actual customizable designs.
