Shipping & Turnaround

Free shipping on premium orders

Every premium card, invitation, and holiday order ships free within the United States. There is no minimum and no threshold — the shipping is built into the price, so what you see is what you pay.

Standard business cards (our 14pt gloss workhorse) ship at a flat $9.95 per order, however many you buy.

How long it takes

Stage Typical time
Your proof, emailed to you 1 business day
Printing, after you approve 4–6 business days
Transit 2–7 business days

Most orders land in about two weeks from the day you order.

Holiday cards — count backwards, not forwards

A holiday card is not a gift that has to be under the tree. It is post you have to send, so what matters is getting the cards in hand early enough to address, stuff, stamp and mail them — and for people to receive them in the first half of December, which is when a holiday card should turn up.

Order by Cards in hand Post by Lands
10 November ~26 November 1 December first week of December
17 November ~3 December 8 December second week of December
1 December (last call) ~17 December the day they arrive just before Christmas

Allow roughly five days to address a hundred or more by hand, and three to five in the mail. If you are cutting it fine, say so when you order and we will flag the proof so it is not sitting waiting on your approval.

Need it faster? Here is the honest answer

There are two separate clocks: how long the paper takes on press, and how long it takes to reach you. We can shorten the second one. The first one depends entirely on the stock you chose.

Stock On press Can it be rushed?
Pearl shimmer, Black Core triple-layer, raised foil 4–6 business days No. These stocks have a fixed schedule and no rush option exists at any price.
14pt gloss (standard cards, postcards, save the dates) 2–4 business days Yes — 2 business days on press. Email us before ordering and we will quote it.

Express delivery is available at checkout on orders up to about ten pounds — $29 on premium orders, $34 on standard cards. It shortens transit by a few days. It does not speed up the press, so on a premium order the realistic floor is still around a week and a half.

On heavier orders (roughly 1,000 postcards and up) express is not offered at checkout because the carrier cost stops being predictable. Email us and we will quote it properly rather than guess.

If a date is tight, tell us before you order. We would rather say "that will not make it" up front than take your money and disappoint you. Planning a wedding? Build a paper timeline from your date.

Where we ship

United States only for now. If you need cards sent somewhere else, email us before ordering and we will quote it.

Wedding suites take longer — on purpose

A wedding suite is four separate print runs: invitations, details cards, RSVP cards and envelopes. Rather than send you four parcels on four days, we have all four sent to us, check every piece against your approved proof, and repack the whole suite into one box.

That means three to four weeks from order to doorstep, not the two weeks a single-item order takes. If your date is tight, email us before you order.
